Born in Papunya, Fabrianne Peterson attended school in Papunya and Alice Springs. She lived for a while in Walungurru where she painted alongside Narpula Scobie Napurrula, her mother in law. She was Maudie Peterson Nungurrayi's (now deceased) daughter.
Fabrianne’s particular attention to detail distances her from other young painters whose style is less constrained. She depicts in her paintings the dreaming stories of Willy wagtail and also Bush Potato, honey ant and the stories connected with Kunatjarrayi.
